June Fishing Report
June started out a bit slow for salmon, with mostly a few feeders around at Rosa, Ferrer point and other usual spots. Bottom fishing was consistent for Halibut and Rock Fish. Bigger Ling cod have been a bit scarce compared to past years. Around the middle of June the salmon schools arrived and fishing became good at Pin Rocks, Ferrer, and the Grassy Island area, were performing well. The fish were feeding on squid, so white hootchies seemed to be the ticket for much of June. Halibut were mainly being caught at least 8 miles offshore.
