2018 Season review
2018 was another great fishing year at Port Eliza Lodge. The fishing started out a bit slow with many small salmon in May, but steadily improved and was steady for much of June, and spectacular at times in July and August. While reports from within Nootka Sound were a bit slow, the fish congregated around and in Esperanza inlet much of the summer, right in

to September. There were good numbers of Coho throughout the season both offshore and in the inlet. Unfortunately we did have another severe fire season, which led to some poor visibility during August. The Lodge was briefly home to some fire crews battling blazes on Vancouver Island in September. We are looking forward to a another great season in 2019.
